Jakarta,-Kepala Korps Lalu Lintas (Kakorlantas) Polri Irjen Aan Suhanan memprediksi ada 136,7 juta warga akan mudik lebaran 2024. Angka ini naik 5-6% dibanding tahun lalu.
“Kalau tahun lalu ada 123 juta lebih masyarakat Indonesia yang melakukan mudik, balik, dan berwisata selama libur Idul Fitri. Kalau ditambah 5-6 persen itu ada di angka 136,7 juta,” kata Aan saat Rapat Koordinasi Kesiapan Pengelolaan Arus Lalu Lintas Mudik-Balik Lebaran 2024 di Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (5/3/2024).
Aan meminta para direktur lalu lintas (dirlantas) di tiap daerah untuk mengatur arus lalu lintas di daerah yang berpotensi mengalami kemacetan. Ia juga meminta jajarannya untuk menyiapkan jalur alternatif agar pemudik punya jalur lain yang bisa dilalui menghindari kemacetan.
“Kemudian jalur alternatif juga disiapkan, tapi tolong tidak menjadi prioritas jalur alternatif ini. Kita maksimalkan mengelola di jalur-jalur utama,” kata Aan menambahkan.
Karo Penmas Divisi Humas Polri Brigjen Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko mengatakan, pihaknya akan melangsungkan rapat koordinasi membahas pengaturan arus lalu lintas. Nantinya sistem rekayasa lalu lintas akan diprioritaskan di jalan Tol Trans Jawa untuk mengantisipasi kemacetan saat mudik lebaran.
“Rekayasa lalu lintas ini dituangkan tentunya juga pada SKB (surat keputusan bersama) dengan stakeholder terkait ada. Beberapa pola lalu lintas akan diberlakukan yakni sistem contra flow, one way dan pembatasan operasional angkutan barang sumbu 3,” ucapnya dalam kesempatan terpisah, Rabu (6/3/2024).
“Sistem contraflow diberlakukan mulai dari km 36, sedangkan sistem one way diterapkan mulai dari km 72 Tol Cipali sampai dengan km 414 Tol Kalikangkung. Tentunya ini mendasari dari hasil analisa dan evaluasi tahun lalu,” ujarnya menjelaskan.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Trunoyudo turut mengimbau ke masyarakat agar tidak menggunakan sepeda motor saat mudik. Motor dianggap memiliki potensi kecelakaan yang tinggi di jalan.
“Bagi masyarakat yang tetap ingin menggunakan sepeda motor diharapkan memperhatikan kondisi kesehatan tubuh, perlengkapan, dan kendaraannya sejak dini. Serta diharapkan tidak membawa barang yang berlebihan dan tidak berboncengan tidak lebih dari satu penumpang,” kata dia menutup.
