Medan – Dua pelaku pencurian kenderaan bermotor (Curanmor) dihajar massa saat ketahuan mencuri sepeda motor di Jalan H Anif Desa Sampali Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Senin (20/11/2023) sekitar pukul 09:00 Wib.
Salah seorang pelaku tewas berinisial RR (25) warga Komplek Griya II Helvetia, dan rekannya kritis berinisial WU (30) warga Jalan Swadaya Kelurahan Banten Kecamatan Medan Tembung.
Kapolsek Percut Sei Tuan Kompol Agus Setiawan melalui Kanit Reskrimnya Iptu Japri Simamora SH membenarkan adanya peristiwa tersebut. Pihaknya mengetahui dari laporan mengenai adanya dua pelaku pencurian sepeda motor ditangkap dan dihajar warga.
“Begitu mendapatkan informasi langsung bergerak, dan saat tiba di lokasi, mendapatkan dua pria berinisial WU mengalami luka-luka bersama rekannya RR. Setelah kita amankan, RR kita bawa ke Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara untuk pertolongan medis, namun setelah di rumah sakit diyatakan meninggal dunia,” ucap Japri.
Menurut mantan Kanit Reskrim Polsek Medan Timur ini dari hasil penyelidikan, para pelaku mencuri sepeda motor milik Sakti Elfriando Girsang, yang saat itu sedang memanaskan sepeda motornya di depan rumahnya di sekitar Jalan H Anif. Di saat bersamaan, kedua pelaku datang dan langsung mengambil sepeda motor korban.
Beruntung seorang tetangga korban bernama Evrida melihat aksi kedua pelaku dan langsung meneriaki pelaku, hingga warga berdatangan menangkap dan menghajar kedua pelaku. “Sebelum kabur, kedua pelaku sempat menabrak pengendara motor lainya hingga terjatuh, disitulah keduanya ditangkap warga,” jelas Japri.
Adapun barang bukti yang berhasil diamankan, 1 unit Honda Vario milik pelaku, 1 unit Honda Vario BK 4454 AFL milik korban, 1 kunci T, 1 Kunci Y, 1 dompet dan gunting. (Gs/DS)
