Jakarta,-Empat Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) yang dievakuasi dari wilayah Tepi Barat dan sekitarnya, tiba di Jakarta dengan selamat, Minggu (15/10/2023). Para WNI ini dievakuasi oleh Kementerian Luar Negeri RI dan KBRI Amman.
“Proses evakuasi dilakukan sejak 13 Oktober melalui jalur darat dari Safe House di Yerusalem. Melalui Jordan River Border menuju Amman,” demikian keterangan resmi Kemlu RI.
Saat ini, tercatat sebanyak 136 WNI masih berada di wilayah Tepi Barat dan sekitarnya. Mereka memilih untuk tetap tinggal di lokasi masing-masing.
Sementara itu, Pemerintah masih terus upayakan evakuasi 10 WNI dari wilayah Jalur Gaza. Kerawanan situasi keamanan membuat proses evakuasi WNI dari Jalur Gaza harus hati-hati.
“Juga harus dengan koordinasi intensif berbagai pihak terkait. Hingga saat ini tidak ada WNI yang menjadi korban,” tutup Kemlu RI dalam pernyataannya.
