Medan,-Iptu Regi Putra Manda merupakan satu di antara 20 personel yang menyabet penghargaan dari Kapolda Sumatera Utara, Inspektur Jenderal Polisi Agung Setya Imam Efendi.
Penghargaan yang diberikan kepada Kasubnit Jatanras Polrestabes Medan itu karena berhasil mengungkap dua kasus pembunuhan dalam tempo singkat.
Pertama, Regi bersama anggotanya mengungkap kasus pembunuhan terhadap seorang terapis bernama Heni. Korban ditemukan tewas di Kusuk Lulur Julia, Jalan T. Amir Hamzah, Kecamatan Medan Barat, Kamis (28/9/2023) lalu sekira pukul 23.00 WIB.
Dua hari setelah kejadian, kasus itu pun Tim Jatanras Polrestabes Medan yang ia pimpin berhasil meringkus pelakunya, Didi (33) warga Jalan Karya Cilincing, Kelurahan Karang Berombak, Kecamatan Medan Barat. Pelaku ditangkap di salah satu rumah tempat ia bersembunyi di Jalan Karya, Gang Kartini, Kecamatan Medan Barat, Sabtu (30/9/2023) siang.
Saat dilakukan pengembangan, pelaku melakukan perlawanan hingga petugas dengan terpaksa menembak bagian kaki pelaku.
Kedua, kasus pembunuhan yang dialami korban Eca Boru Tampubolon (32) di kosan Jalan Pelajar, Kecamatan Medan Kota, Kamis (30/11/2023). Nyawa korban dihabisi oleh pria kenalannya bernama Panji Satria (25) warga Jalan Sempurna, Kecamatan Medan Kota.
Pelaku diamankan Tim Jatanras Polrestabes Medan dan Polsek Medan Kota dua hari setelah pembunuhan itu terjadi. Padahal, harusnya hari Minggu (3/12/2023) kemarin pelaku melaksanakan pesta pernikahan dengan pujaan hatinya di kawasan Mabar, Kecamatan Medan Deli.
Karena pengungkapan dua kasus menonjol itu, Kapolda pun memberikan penghargaan kepada Iptu Regi bersamaan dengan Kasat Reskrim Polrestabes Medan, Kompol Teuku Fathir Mustafa dan personel Jatanras Satreskrim, Briptu Franshery Malau.
Profil Iptu Regi
Iptu Regi Putra Manda merupakan alumnus Akademi Kepolisian (Akpol) tahun 2019. Karirnya di dunia kepolisian bisa dibilang cukup menduduki jabatan strategis. Ia bisa dibilang kerap ‘bergelut’ di dunia reserse kriminal.
Dalam karirnya, Regi pernah menduduki jabatan sebagai KBO Sat Lantas Polres Nias Selatan. Kemudian ia dipercaya menjabat Plt. Kapolsek Teluk Dalam. Setelah dari Nias, Regi pun hijrah ke Medan.
Di Kota Medan, ayah satu anak ini diamanahkan untuk mengisi posisi Panit Reskrim Polsek Medan Baru. Setelah setahun lebih, Regi selanjutnya dipromosikan menjabat Kasubnit Jatanras Satreskrim Polrestabes Medan.
