Subussalam,-Sebanyak tiga warga hilang akibat longsor di Desa Lae Ikan, Kecamatan Penanggalan, Kota Subulussalam, Aceh. Petugas Pusat Pengendalian Operasi BPBD setempat Cut Anita menyampaikan ketiga korban tersebut dua di antaranya merupakan warga sipil dan satu lainnya anggota Babinkamtibmas Polri Kecamatan Penanggalan.
“Dalam kejadian, ada lima orang korban yang terseret, dua orang selamat dan tiga orang lagi saat ini masih dalam pencarian,” ujar Anita dalam siaran pers BNPB, Minggu (29/10/2023).
Dilaporkan, akibat peristiwa ini terjadi timbunan material tanah longsor. Timbunan ini sebelumnya sempat menghambat akses jalan nasional Sumatra – Aceh .
Kini timbunan itu telah dibersihkan oleh BPBD dan Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kota Subulussalam sehingga akses tersebut dapat dilalui kendaraan.
Namun demikian, Anita mengatakan, para pengendara tetap harus waspada saat melintas jalan lintas nasional, khususnya ketika hujan di Dea Lae Ikan, karena tanah longsor masih berpotensi terjadi.
“Untuk saat ini kemungkinan tidak ada potensi longsor susulan karena sedang tidak hujan atau cerah berawan. Tapi jika nanti malam hujan kemungkinan berpotensi, untuk itu harus tetap berhati-hati bagi yang melintas,” ujarnya.
Berdasarkan prakiraan cuaca oleh Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG), Minggu (29/10), sebagian besar cuaca di wilayah Kota Subulussalam diperkirakan cerah berawan.
Sedangkan siang hari, cuaca diperkirakan akan hujan lebat. Pada sore hari berpotensi hujan petir dan malam hari akan berawan.
BNPB mengimbau pemerintah daerah dan warga untuk tetap waspada terhadap potensi hujan lebat yang dapat memicu terjadinya banjir, banjir bandang, dan tanah longsor.
