Patroli ini dilakukan secara mobile di sekitar wilayah hukum Polresta Deli Serdang dan jajarannya, dengan fokus pada beberapa titik yang dianggap rawan gangguan kamtibmas seperti pusat perbelanjaan, swalayan, pusat pertokoan, SPBU, terminal, stasiun bus, tempat keramaian, dan Jalan Lintas Sumatera.
Kegiatan patroli ini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mencegah tindak kejahatan yang sering terjadi pada malam hari, seperti aksi pencurian dengan pemberatan (3C), begal, tawuran, dan balap liar.
Dalam patroli tersebut, personil Personil Polresta Deli Serdang bdan jajarannya tidak hanya berkeliling, tetapi juga menyambangi warga setempat dan mengajak mereka untuk bersama-sama menjaga Kamtibmas.
Saat dikonfirmasi, Kapolresta Deli Serdang Kombespol Raphael Sandhy Cahya Priambodo SIK melalui Kasat Samapta Kompol Supendi SH mengatakan “Kehadiran personil di tengah masyarakat pada malam hari diharapkan dapat memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman, serta mencegah terjadinya tindak kejahatan,” ujarnya
“Kami juga mengajak masyarakat untuk aktif berpartisipasi dalam menjaga keamanan lingkungan sekitar.”
Patroli Blue Light ini mendapatkan apresiasi dari masyarakat yang merasa lebih aman dengan kehadiran polisi di malam hari.
Upaya ini diharapkan dapat terus berlanjut dan menjadi salah satu langkah efektif dalam menjaga Kamtibmas di wilayah Deli Serdang.(Gs/Humas Polresta DS)
