Medan – Polda Sumut dan jajaran mengungkap 1.558 kasus tindak pidana peredaran narkoba dalam kurun waktu tiga bulan sejak 12 September hingga 30 November 2023 di seluruh wilayah Provinsi Sumatera Utara (Sumut).
Kapolda Sumut melalui Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi, mengatakan dalam pengungkapan kasus narkoba itu sebanyak 2.112 tersangka diamankan terdiri dari pemakai 467 orang dan jaringan narkoba 1.645 orang.
“Selain tersangka narkoba turut disita barang bukti sabu seberat 263,38 kg, ganja 361,09 kg, pohon ganja 50.063 batang, pil ekstasi 6.243,75 butir, obat excimer 95 butir, obat tramadol 49 butir, obat triheksi fenidil 431 butir dan uang tunai Rp259.889.000,” katanya, Kamis (30/11).
Hadi mengungkapkan, Polda Sumut terus berupaya memberantas peredaran narkoba dengan menggelar razia gabungan di wilayah perbatasan Sumut-Aceh, Riau-Sumut hingga Padang-Sumut.
Semua pintu masuk perbatasan wilayah Sumut kita tingkatkan dengan rutin menggelar razia dengan memeriksa setiap kendaraan yang melintas. Bahkan di pelabuhan maupun bandara juga diperketat pengawasannya untuk mengantisipasi masuknya narkoba,”
