Jakarta,- Kualitas hidup perempuan di Indonesia masih tertinggal, jika dibanding negara lain, bahkan negara tetangga di Asean. Ini dilihat dari Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) yang mengukur keberhasilan pembangunan kualitas hidup manusia dari 3 aspek dasar kehidupan.
Ketiga aspek itu adalah usia panjang dan hidup sehat, pengetahuan, dan standar hidup layak. Dan dari ketiga aspek itu, angkanya masih menunjukkan ketimpangan kualitas hidup perempuan dan laki-laki.
Hal itu terungkap dalam Seminar Nasional Literasi Hukum bagi Perempuan. Dengan tema “Perkuat Pemberdayaan dan Perlindungan Perempuan”, di Jakarta, Senin (13/11/2023).
“IPM perempuan pada 2022 berada pada angka 70,31. Dan laki-laki sebesar 76,73,” kata Deputi Bidang Kesetaraan Gender, Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (Kemen PPA), Lenny N. Rosalin.
Perbandingan antara IPM perempuan dan laki-laki itu, lanjut Lenny, menghasilkan Indeks Pembangunan Gender (IPG) tahun 2021 sebesar 91,63. “Ini mengindikasikan masih terjadinya kesenjangan gender pada hasil pembangunan,” ujarnya.
Lenny memaparkan IPM Indonesia pada 2021 berada di peringkat 6 dari 10 negara Asean, dan peringkat 17 dari 19 negara G20. Kemudian ada 24 provinsi di Indonesia yang IPM-nya berada di bawah angka nasional.
Ketimpangan gender ini mengindikasikan kondisi perempuan Indonesia secara umum. Yang masih menjadi kelompok masyarakat tertinggal di berbagai aspek pembangunan dibandingkan dengan laki-laki.
“Sinergi dan partisipasi multi-pihak menjadi kunci agar hambatan dan tantangan yang muncul dapat diatasi dengan baik. Sehingga upaya pelindungan dan pemenuhan hak perempuan sesuai amanat UU dapat terlaksana dengan baik,” ucapnya.
