Medan,-Tim Saber Pungli Polda Sumut melakukan penahanan terhadap seorang komisioner KPU (Komisi Pemilihan Umum) P.Sidimpuan. Tersangka PH ditangkap atas dugaan pemerasan terhadap seorang Caleg di P.Sidimpuan.
Kapolda Sumut Irjen Agung Setya melalui Kabid Humas Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi, mengatakan Tim Saber Pungli yang di dalamnya melibatkan Inspektorat Pengawasan Daerah Polda Sumut dan Direktorat Reskrimum menangkap Komisioner KPU Sidimpuan berinisial PH dari salah satu cafe di P.Sidimpuan seusai menerima uang hasil kejahatannya dari korbannya.
“Tersangka menjanjikan 1.000 suara kepada korban seorang calon legislatif (caleg) berinisial F,” katanya, Senin (29/1).
Hadi mengungkapkan, PH diamankan bersama R anggota Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK) pada Sabtu (27/1) lalu, atas laporan korban sendiri inisial F.Dalam kasus ini, sambung Kabid Humas, hanya tersangka PH yang dilakukan penahanan sementara R hanya sebagai saksi.
Adapun modus tersangka PH, awalnya meminta uang Rp 50 juta kepada korban untuk 1.000 suara. Namun, korban hanya mampu membayar Rp 26 juta.Ditanya soal keterlibatan orang lain, Hadi menyebut, masih dalam proses penyidikan. Tersangka dijerat dengan pasal 368 KUHPidana tentang pemerasan dengan ancaman hukuman 9 tahun penjara.”Tim Itwasda dan Ditreskrimum masih mendalami kasus ini,” pungkasnya.
Sementara informasi diperoleh, tersangka PH menjabat sebagai Koordinator Divisi (Kordiv) yang bertugas merekrut, melakukan bimbingan tekhnis dan mengevaluasi tugas-tugas PPK.
