Jakarta,-Penasehat Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Kota Medan Ny Kahiyang Ayu M Bobby Afif Nasution menghadiri Seminar Nasional DWP Tahun 2023 di The Tribrata Jalan Darmawangsa III, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, Kamis (16/11). Seminar ini bertujuan sebagai forum silaturahmi pengurus dan anggota DWP seluruh Indonesia untuk menambah wawasan dari materi seminar yang diterima serta wadah diskusi untuk kemajuan individu dan organisasi.
Ny Kahiyang Ayu mengikuti seminar yang mengusung tema “Peran Strategis Perempuan dalam Pembangunan Berkelanjutan” didampingi Ketua DWP Kota Medan Ny Ismiralda Wiriya Alrahman beserta sejumlah pengurus lainnya. Pembukaan seminar yang berlangsung hingga 17 November ini ditandai dengan membunyikan angklung.
Dihadapan seluruh pengurus DWP Provinsi, Kabupaten dan Kota se-Indonesia, Ketua Umum DWP Ny Franka Makarim dalam sambutannya mengatakan, seminar nasional ini merupakan awal rangkaian dalam rangka HUT DWP ke-24. Dirinya melihat seluruh peserta sangat serius mengikuti seluruh rangkaian seminar yang digelar.
“Tentunya semangat DWP ini juga tercermin dari program DWP yang ada di seluruh Indonesia. Apa yang diberikan kepada anggota DWP di seluruh Indonesia bukan hanya diukur dari kuantitas dan jumlah yang dilakukan, tetapi juga dari kualitas program yang kita lakukan kepada mereka,” kata Ny Franka.
Dalam seminar ini, jelas Ny Franka, akan membahas topik mengenai perwujudan komitmen DWP Pusat atas aspirasi dan masukan yang telah diterima melalui survei yang diikuti oleh 21 ribu anggota DWP. Dimana, lanjutnya, ada 3 topik besar yang akan diturunkan dalam 7 sesi wicara yakni pendidikan keluarga, pemberdayaan ekonomi dan pengembangan diri anggota.
“Dalam 7 sesi wicara ini melibatkan narasumber yang inspiratif dan ahli di bidangnya. Oleh karenanya saya mohon dengan sangat untuk memanfaatkan kesempatan ini dan mohon umpan baliknya. Kami berharap bapak dan ibu mendapatkan banyak pelajaran dan pengetahuan yang bermanfaat sehingga bisa dibawa kembali ke DWP nya masing-masing,” jelasnya.
Selain itu, kata Ny Franka, seminar ini juga akan didokumentasikan secara audio visual sehingga dapat disaksikan ulang per sesi wicara. Dengan begitu, imbuhnya, anggota yang belum dapat hadir dalam seminar ini dapat melihat materi yang disampaikan. Selain itu para peserta seminar juga dapat melihat ulang sehingga dapat diterapkan di DWP masing-masing.
“Dengan demikian kita dapat memastikan secara berkelanjutan dari praktik baik nilai penting yang kita pelajari selama dua hari ini. Keberlanjutan ini pondasi penting untuk menguatkan peran kita semua sebagai perempuan dalam mewujudkan pembangunan keluarga, masyarakat dan bangsa yang berkelanjutan nantinya,” ungkapnya.
Selanjutnya Ny Franka berharap, setelah terselenggaranya Seminar Nasional DWP tahun 2023 ini agar dapat dirumuskan langkah nyata dan aksi perubahan di daerah masing-masing. Dikatakannya, semua itu dapat dilakukan dari hal yang paling sederhana. Tapi langkah kecil dan sederhana ini, pesannya, harus dilakukan bersama-sama dan mengaplikasikannya bersama 4 juta anggota DWP beserta keluarga.
“Ini adalah ombak perubahan besar yang dapat menyebabkan kita menjadi bagian peran nyata pembangunan nasional. Saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua yang ikut serta mensukseskan acara ini. Mari manfaatkan kegiatan ini sebagai momentum untuk berdiskusi, bersilaturahmi dan belajar sebanyak – banyaknya. Perempuan berdaya DWP kuat bersama mewujudkan pembangunan untuk Indonesia” pungkasnya.
