Jakarta,-Ribuan Buruh di DKI Jakarta akan menggelar aksi penyampaian pendapat di Bundaran Pajak Kawasan Industri Pulo Gadung, Jakarta Timur, Selasa (28/11/2023). Hal ini menyusul ditetapkannya Upah Minimum Provinsi (UMP) DKI Jakarta tahun 2024 yang dinilai tidak sesuai dengan ekspektasi.
Pemprov DKI Jakarta telah menetapkan UMP Tahun 2024 sebesar Rp5.067.381 atau naik Rp165.680, dari sebelumnya sebesar Rp4,9 juta. Secara Persentase, UMP 2024 mengalami kenaikan 3,38 persen, jauh di bawah kenaikan upah minimun daerah penyangga seperti Bekasi dan Karawang.
“Atas penetapan tersebut, buruh DKI Jakarta menolak dan akan melakukan aksi besar pada Selasa, 28 November 2023. Hal itu sebagai bentuk perlawanan terhadap kebijakan pemerintah daerah yang tidak pernah berpihak terhadap buruh DKI Jakarta,” kata Ketua Dewan Pimpinan Wilayah Federasi Serikat Pekerja Metal Indonesia (DPW FSPMI), Winarso dalam keterangannya, Senin (27/11/2023) malam.
Menurut Winarso, kebijakan Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta menetapkan UMP 2024 naik sebesar 3,38 persen, menyakitkan para buruh. “Buruh mendesak Pemerintah provinsi DKI Jakarta untuk merevisi UMP 2024 menjadi Rp5,6 juta atau setara dengan 15 persen,” ujar Winarso.
