Medan Labuhan – Keberadaan tanggul sungai Deli persisnya di titik jalan Medan Labuhan Km 13,5 tampak dilanda longsor kondisinya kini kritis.
Hal itu sesuai amatan media online DNAberita com Jumat (13/10/2023) saat menelusuri kawasan tanggul sungai Deli.
Disatu sisi Pemko Medan melaksanakan kegiatan normalisasi sungai Deli dengan menebangi pohon produktif yang ada di bantaran sungai Deli.
Akibat tak ada lagi pohon penghijauan di pinggir tanggul mengakibatkan tanggul menjadi lemah hingga mudah menimbulkan longsor dan mengancam terjadinya pecahnya tanggul sungai Deli sewaktu- waktu banjir bandang datang.
Warga sekitar daerah aliran sungai berharap pada pihak Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera II yang berwenang dalam pemeliharaan tanggul sungai Deli segera melakukan perbaikan tanggul yang kritis guna mencegah kerusakan tanggul yang lebih besar lagi.(Gs/LBH).
