Medan,-Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) di lingkungan Pemko Medan didorong untuk berpenampilan casual dalam bertugas kembali disampaikan Wali Kota Medan Bobby Nasution usai Penandatanganan Nota Kesepahaman Terkait Kerja Sama Pemko Medan dan PT bank CIMB Niaga Dalam Mendukung Digitalisasi UMKM di Tiara Convention Center, Jalan Cut Meutia Medan, Rabu (18/10).
Nantinya, kata Bobby Nasution, barang-barang yang digunakan para ASN seperti baju, celana, sepatu dan lainnya harus merupakan produk-produk UMKM Kota Medan yang telah masuk dalam marketplace yang disiapkan Pemko Medan.
“Saya punya target di bulan sebelas (November), kami (Pemko Medan) setiap Selasa nantinya wajib berpakaian casual menggunakan hasil produk UMKM. Baju dinas kita yang biasanya warna khaki itu, kita ganti jadi pakaian casual,” kata Bobby Nasution.
Di hadapan seratusan pelaku UMKM yang hadir, menantu Presiden Joko Widodo ini selanjutnya menuturkan, kebijakan ini dilakukan bukan tanpa sebab. Pasalnya, paparnya, Pemko Medan akan menjadi market pertama bagi produk UMKM sekaligus bentuk dukungan guna mewujudkan UMKM naik kelas.
“Kenapa harus diawali dari kami (pemko Medan)? Karena, kami ingin, kami menjadi contoh awal bahwa Pemko Medan adalah konsumen pelaku UMKM. Kita gunakan produk-produk lokal. Mudah-mudahan bisa menjadi triger bagi yang lain,” ungkapnya yang langsung disambut tepuk tangan meriah pelaku UMKM.
Terkait kerja sama yang dilakukan, pria kelahiran 5 Juli 1991 tersebut menuturkan, dilakukan guna mendorong pelaku UMKM agar bisa memanfaatkan digitalisasi dalam mendukung peningkatan usahanya. “Dari yang tadinya manual, ke digital. Sebab, nantinya pasar yang disasar bisa lebih luas, bahkan ke seluruh dunia,” imbuhnya.
Oleh karenanya, Bobby Nasution pun berharap kiranya ragam dukungan terhadap pelaku UMKM bisa terus berlanjut, terutama dalam hal literasi digital. Dengan demikian, para pelaku UMKM kian terbantu dan memudahkan mereka untuk mengatur keuangannya secara tersistem.
“Kita harus terbuka pada kemajuan. Sentuh digitalisasi dan maka akan lebih banyak peluang yang datang ke teman-teman pelaku UMKM. Ini lah yang kita harapkan, adanya kerja sama. Semoga bermanfaat dan sukses untuk semuanya,” harapnya.
