Sergai – Polsek Perbaungan Polres Serdangbedagai (Sergai) mengamankan anggota geng motor yang meresahkan warga Lingkungan III Kelurahan Tualang, Kecamatan Perbaungan, Minggu (28/4/2024) dini hari.
“Ada 6 orang anggota geng motor Kodrat yang berhasil diamankan,” ungkap Kapolsek Perbaungan AKP S Gurusinga melalui PS Kasi Humas Iptu Edward Sidauruk, Minggu (20/4/2024) siang.
Ia menyebutkan, ke-6 anggota geng motor Kodrat yang diamankan masing-masing-masing berinisial, MM (17) dan CF (18), keduanya warga Dusun II Desa Kesatuan, Kecamatan Perbaungan. DRAS (16) dan MD (16), keduanya warga Dusun II Desa Sei Sijenggi, Kecamatan Perbaungan. Serta IG (17), warga Dusun A Desa Tanah Merah, Kecamatan Perbaungan, dan H (17), warga Dusun VI Desa Sialang, Kecamatan Galang, Kabupaten Deliserdang.
“Bersama ke-6 anggota geng motor, turut diamankan barang bukti berupa, 5 unit sepeda motor, 1 pedang garaga, 1 besi panjang, dan 4 botol kaca kosong,” ujarnya.
Edward menjelaskan, penangkapan keenam anggota geng motor ini berawal pihak Polsek Perbaungan mendapat informasi dari warga terkait adanya komunitas geng motor yang masuk ke Lingkungan III Kelurahan Tualang.
Menindaklanjuti informasi tersebut, Kapolsek Perbaungan AKP S Gurusinga didampingi Kanit Reskrim Ipda Raja K Haloho beserta tim Opsnal dan piket SPK, segera bergerak menuju lokasi dimaksud.
Tiba di lokasi, lanjutnya, tim menemukan kelompok geng motor yang sedang beraksi dan bertindak arogan, serta menganiaya warga.
Melihat hal itu, tim langsung bergerak melakukan penangkapan, dan berhasil mengamankan 6 orang anggota geng motor dengan dibantu warga sekitar. Sedangkan anggota geng motor yang lain berhasil melarikan diri.
“Ke-6 anggota geng motor yang berhasil ditangkap selanjutnya diamankan ke Polsek Perbaungan. Sedangkan anggota geng motor yang berhasil kabur telah diketahui identitasnya,” jelasnya.
Edward juga mengimbau warga untuk melaporkan ke pihak kepolisian apabila mengetahui adanya tindak kejahatan, seperti geng motor, balap liar, maupun penyalahgunaan narkoba, agar dapat segera ditindak.
“Warga dapat melapor langsung ke Polsek terdekat ataupun menghubungi call center Polres Sergai di nomor 110,” tegasnya. (Gs/Sergai).
