Doha,- Manajer Timnas Indonesia U-23 Endri Erawan resmi melayangkan protes ke Konfederasi Sepak Bola Asia (AFC). Protes dilayangkan terkait kepemimpinan Wasit Nasrullo Kabirov dan Video Assistant Referee (VAR), Sivakorn Pu-Udom saat Indonesia vs Qatar.
“Tentu kita semua kecewa dengan kepemimpinan Wasit Nasrullo Kabirov dan Wasit VAR, Sivakorn Pu-Udom. Semua bisa melihat bahwa mereka banyak memberikan keputusan-keputusan yang merugikan untuk Indonesia,” katanya dalam rilis PSSI, Selasa (16/4/2024).
Timnas Indonesia U-23 kalah 0-2 dari Qatar dalam matchday pertama babak penyisihan Grup A Piala Asia U-23 2024. Laga tersebut berlangsung di Stadion Jassim bin Hamad pada Senin pekan ini.
Endri menekankan, protes yang ditayangkan tidak akan mengubah hasil pertandingan yang sudah berlangsung. Namun, harapannya, para wasit dapat lebih objektif dalam mengambil keputusan, di pertandingan-pertandingan selanjutnya.
Selain soal kinerja wasit, Timnas Indonesia U-23 dibuat tidak nyaman saat berangkat dari hotel ke Stadion, jelang laga tersebut. Timnas Garuda terlambat tiba di Stadion, karena supir bus yang memilih rute yang tidak normal.
“Kita sayangkan yakni bus Tim Indonesia saat dari hotel menuju Stadion kita lewat jalan yang jauh dan berputar-putar. Akhirnya telat memasuki Stadion hampir 20 menit, yang bisa ditempuh hanya 8-10 menit dari hotel ke stadion,” ujarnya.
Padahal, lanjutnya, sesuai regulasi, Timnas Indonesia U-23 harusnya tiba di Stadion 90 menit sebelum kick off. “Kita juga laporkan ke AFC, karena membuat kami semua rugi waktu dan tidak nyaman,” ucapnya.
