Medan,-Anggota DPRD Medan, H.Ilhamsyah,SH mendorong Pemerintah Kota (Pemko) Medan untuk terus melakukan sosialisasi Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Nomor 13 Tahun 2011 tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) Tahun 2011-2031.
Hal itu dikatakannya saat menggelar Sosialisasi ke-IV Tahun Anggaran 2024, Perda Nomor 13 Tahun 2011 tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) Tahun 2011-2031 di Jalan Sunggal, Gg.Langgar, Kelurahan Sunggal, Kecamatan Medan Sunggal dan Jalan Bunga Teratai, kelurahan Padang Bulan Selayang II, Kecamatan Medan Selayang, Senin (29/04/2024).
“Perda ini perlu dan penting diketahui masyarakat Kota Medan karena berkaitan dengan tata ruang Kota Medan, sehingga masyarakat mengetahui zonasi pembangunan yang dilakukan di Kota Medan,” katanya.
Dikatakan Politisi Golkar ini, penataan ruang harus mampu menjawab kebutuhan pembangunan saat ini, dan saat ini masih banyak pemanfaatan ruang yang kurang terencana dengan baik yang dapat memberikan dampak kurang baik, seperti kemacetan, banjir, kawasan kumuh dan sanitasi air bersih yang kurang.
“Sehingga perlu dilakukan pengaturan yang jelas dan tegas agar dalam penataan ruang wilayah dapat tertata dengan baik dan benar,” jelasnya.
Anggota Komisi I itu mengatakan bahwa Perda RTRW berlaku hingga tahun 2031 penting untuk dipahami. “Perda ini mengatur tata ruang Kota Medan agar tidak terjadi kesemrawutan pembangunan,” jelasnya.
Dia mencontohkan tata ruang di kawasan Utara Kota Medan diperuntukkan menjadi kawasan industri, perdagangan, pergudangan dan pelabuhan atau ruang terbuka hijau.
Sedangkan kawasan Selatan Kota Medan yang meliputi wilayah Kecamatan Medan Selayang, Medan Johor, Medan Tuntungan, menjadi kawasan pemukiman dan perdagangan. “Jadi tata ruang ini disusun sebagai alat operasional pelaksanaan pembangunan wilayah daerah, sehingga pembangunan yang dilakukan tidak semrawut,” bebernya.
Dia berharap sosialisasi yang dilaksanakannya ini dapat benar-benar bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, termasuk aparatur pemerintahan seperti kepala lingkungan yang hadir. “Jadi mari sama-sama kita jadikan pertemuan ini menjadi pembekalan atau penambah wawasan bagi kita,” pungkasnya.
Diketahui Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Nomor 13 Tahun 2011 tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) terdiri dari XI BAB dan 96 Pasal.
