Sergai – Relawan Laskar Setia Ganjar Pranowo (Legowo) menggelar Turnamen Cup Sepak Bola U-23 di PT Fajar Agung Kebun Obang Abeng, Kecamatan Pegajahan, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai (Sergai), Minggu (17/12/2023) sore. Sebanyak 24 tim peserta mengikuti turnamen tersebut.
Dalam pembukaan turnamen, turut dihadiri Tokoh sepak bola dan legen sepak bola Medan Jaya & PSMS Abdi Kusno serta legen PSDS Fitri Efendi.
Ketua Relawan Legowo sekaligus Ketua Panitia Darma Sutra mengatakan, turnamen sepak bola ini digelar tak lain untuk memperkenalkan Ganjar Pranowo calon presiden 2024 kepada anak-anak usia 23.
“Selain memperkenalkan Ganjar, olahraga ini sangat naik untuk kesehatan dan mengajak generasi muda agar menjauhi narkoba,” paparnya.
Darma Sutra yang juga menjabat sebagai Ketua Askab PSSI Sergai merasa bersyukur dalam pembukaan turnamen berjalan lancar.
“Meski hujan turun, kegiatan tetap berjalan dengan lancar dan sukses,” tandasnya.
Pada pertandingan perdana, Barusta FC berhasil mengalahkan Bina Yuda FC dengan skor 4 – 0 dan Agtagana berhasil menjinakkan Binataruna dengan skor 2-0.
Meski dilanda hujan, ratusan masyarakat terlihat antusias melihat pembukaan Turnamen Cup Sepak Bola U-23.
