Tanah Karo,-Polda Sumut menggelar rekonstruksi kasus pembakaran rumah wartawan, Rico Sempurna Pasaribu di Jalan Nabung Surbakti, Kecamatan Kabanjahe, Kabupaten Karo, Jumat (19/7/2024) malam.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi mengatakan, rekonstruksi yang digelar pada pukul 14.00-20.00 WIB telah selesai dilaksanakan dan berjalan dengan baik.
“Ada 57 adegan mewarnai jalannya rekonstruksi dalam kasus pembakaran rumah wartawan tersebut,” kata Hadi usai rekonstruksi di lokasi kejadian.
Hadi mengungkapkan, tiga orang tersangka bersama lebih 15 saksi serta peran pengganti turut dihadirkan selama berjalannya reka ulang adegan rekonstruksi peristiwa pembakaran yang menewaskan Rico Sempurna Pasaribu beserta keluarganya.
“Rekonstruksi yang gelar berdasarkan Pasal 24 Ayat 3 Perkap 9 tahun 2019 bahwa, dalam hal menguji proses persesuaian para saksi atau tersangka sehingga penyidik maupun penyidik pembantu melakukan rekonstruksi,” ungkapnya.
Mantan Kapolres Biak Papua ini menerangkan, dalam perkara pembakaran yang menewaskan empat orang itu telah ditangkap tiga orang berinisial B alias Bulang, RAS dan YST dengan peran yang berbeda.
“Jadi rekonstruksi yang digelar ini salah satu teknik dalam metode pemeriksaan yang dilakukan penyidik dalam proses penyidikan tindak pidana dengan cara memperagakan kembali bagaimana cara tersangka melakukan tindak pidana, atau pengetahuan saksi yang tujuannya agar penyidik mendapatkan gambaran secara jelas,” terangnya.
Hadi menyebutkan, sebanyak 100 personel terdiri Reskrim, Labfor dan Inafis serta Kejaksaan Negari Karo diikutkan untuk melaksanakan jalannya rekonstruksi langsung di enam tempat kejadian perkara (TKP).
“Alhamdulilah, seluruh rangkaian rekonstruksi yang digelar mulai sejak siang hingga malam hari berjalan dengan baik. Tentunya hasil rekonstruksi ini tertuang dalam Berita Acara Pemeriksaan (BAP) dan dibawa ke pengadilan,” pungkasnya.
