Jakarta,- Bhayangkara FC secara resmi memperkenalkan Radja Nainggolan kepada publik sebagai rekrutan baru di Gelora Bung Karno, Senin (4/12/2023) malam WIB. Mantan bintang AS Roma dan Inter Milan itu berharap kehadirannya mampu membatu The Guardians bangkit dari keterpurukan.
“Saya senang bergabung dengan tim ini. Saya percaya proyek di sini dan bisa mengangkat tim,” kata Radja Nainggolan.
Nainggolan sendiri mengaku tidak pikir panjang ketika menerima tawaran untuk bermain bersama Bhayangkara FC. “Ketika saya melihat usaha klub untuk merekrut saya, saya tidak ragu sedikit pun,” ucapnya.
Pemain asal Belgia berdara Indonesia itu akan membela Bhayangkara FC selama setengah musim (6 bulan). Sumardji mengaku tidak khawatir dengan kondisi Radja yang sudah lama tidak merumput sejak meninggalkan SPAL pada Juni 2023.
“Kami tidak khawatir, karena Radja punya trainer sendiri, (yang melatihnya) pribadi. Selama tidak bertanding dan tidak ada klub, Radja tetap berlatih setuhannya dengan bola,” kata Sumardji.
“Ia selalu latihan setiap hari dan menjaga kebugaran. Itu disampaikannya berulang kali,” ucap Sumardji menegaskan.
Dengan kondisi fisik yang prima, Radja Nainggolan berpeluang besar menjalani debut saat menghadapi PSM, Jumat (8/12/2023) nanti. Apalagi, Bhayangkara FC saat ini sedang membutuhkan tambahan tenaga untuk mendongkrak performa tim.
Bhayangkara saat ini duduk di dasar klasemen dengan 18 poin. The Guardian sejauh ini baru meraih satu kemenangan dalam 21 laga.
Dengan kualitas serta pengalaman yang dimilikinya, Radja Nainggolan diharapkan bisa membantu Bhayangkara FC untuk menjauh dari zona degradasi. Mereka harus konsisten meraih poin hingga akhir musim ini demi bangkit dari keterpurukan.
