Medan,- Tersangka ujaran kebencian, LDS (57) menyerahkan diri ke Polres Toba. Tersangka warga Jalan Madukoro RT/RW:3/6, Kel Klasaman, Kec Klaurung, Kota Sorong, Prop Papua Barat itu diserahkan keluarganya, Minggu (26/11). Kini, penyidikan terhadap tersangka yang berprofesi sebagai sopir truk di Kota Sorong, ditangani Ditreskrimsus Polda Sumut.
Kapolda Sumut Irjen Agung Setya Imam Effendi kepada wartawan, Senin (27/11) mengatakan, tersangka LDS mengunggah video kontroversial pada aplikasi Snack video Minggu (26/11). “Tersangka mengapload video kontroversial itu disalah satu kedai di Lumban Nabolon, Desa Doloksaribu, Kec Nasau, Kab Toba pada Sabtu (25/11) pukul 10.00 wib,” jelas Kapolda.
Motif dari tersangka mengunggah video kontroversial itu, kata Kapolda, masih dalam penyelidikan.
“Motifnya masih diselidiki, saat ini yang bersangkutan sudah dilakukan penahanan di Polda Sumut,” jelasnya menambahkan, tersangka tinggal di Kota Sorong, Papua Barat namun dia pulang kampung sejak dua Minggu lalu.
Adapun pelapor dari kasus itu adalah wakil Ketua GP Ansor Medan Dedi Hermanto Sitorus.
Terhadap tersangka, tambah, Irjen Agung, dipersalahkan melanggar Pasal 28:2 ITE dan Pasal 156 a KUHPidana dengan ancaman hukuman 6 tahun penjara.
Kapolda menghimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat agar bijak menggunakan media sosial.“Negara kita negara hukum, yang bersalah harus mempertanggung jawabkan perbuatannya karena itu agar kita semua bijak menggunakan media sosial,” pungkasnya.
Sebelumnya, tersangka diduga dengan gaya mabuk duduk disalah satu kedai kemudian memvidiokan dirinya mengomentari perang antara Palestina dan Israel hingga menyasar ke ucaban kontrovesial yang bersinggungan dengan salah satu agama.Dalam Nasari video itu juga tersangka mengomentari pendiria rumah sakit Indonesia yang ada di Palestina.
