Medan,-Pengangkatan Kepala Lingkungan (Kepling) tidak sesuai prosedur, warga Lingkungan I Kelurahan Polonia, Kecamatan Medan Polonia berkonsultasi ke Ombudsman.
Perwakilan warga yang mendatangi Kantor Ombudsman RI Provinsi Sumut, Jalan Asrama Medan diterima langsung oleh Kepala Penerimaan dan Verifikasi Laporan (PVL), Ganda Yoga Pangestu.
“Kita sengaja mendatangi kantor Ombudsman ini untuk berkonsultasi perihal pengangkatan Kepling yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan di Lingkungan I Kelurahan Polonia, Kecamatan Medan Polonia,” ujar Arief Darmodjo, perwakilan warga Lingkungan I Kelurahan Polonia di Kantor Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Sumut, Selasa, (30/1/2024).
Sebelumnya, lanjut dijelaskan Arief, perihal keberatan mengenai pengangkatan Kepling yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan karena terindikasi sebagai eks narapidana narkotika tersebut sudah disampaikan ke pihak kecamatan.
“Namun karena sampai saat ini tidak ada kejelasan, makanya kami ke Ombudsman untuk menyampaikan keluhan kami perihal pengangkatan Kepling di lingkungan kami dengan harapan Ombudsman bisa memberikan solusi terbaik,” jelas Arief.
Sementara itu, Pjs Kepala Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Provinsi Sumut, James Marihot Panggabean yang dikonfirmasi membenarkan perihal tersebut.
“Ya, benar kita ada menerima keluhan dari warga Kelurahan Polonia yang keberatan atas pengangkatan Kepling di Lingkungan I, Kelurahan Polonia, Kecamatan Medan Polonia,” kata James.
Namun, lanjut James menjelaskan, warga diminta untuk melengkapi administrasi laporan ke Ombudsman.
“Jika nanti persyaratan pelaporan ke kita sudah dilengkapi warga, Ombudsman akan menindaklanjutinya dengan melakukan kajian dan mengundang para pihak terkait,” kata James.
Intinya, kata James, laporan warga yang memenuhi persyaratan dan sudah diverifikasi akan ditindaklanjuti sepenjang itu menjadi ranahnya Ombudsman.
Sebelumnya, Jumat, 12 Januari 2024, Camat Medan Polonia Irfan Asardi Siregar lewat suratnya mengundang YP, terduga eks narapidana narkotika menghadiri pelantikan Kepling di lingkungannya.
Padahal, Peraturan Walikota Medan Nomor 21 Tahun 2021 menyatakan eks narapidana khusus antara lain kasus narkotika tidak memenuhi persyaratan menjadi Kepling.
