Hal itu dikemukakan Darmawan Yusuf kepada awak media, Kamis (4/4/2024) menanggapi dugaan penjiplakan kata dan frasa dalam websitenya Darmawanyusuf.com dengan website Alileonardi.com.
Menurut Darmawan, sebagian frase atau kalimat yang muncul di website tersebut, telah menjadi public domain, sehingga dalam penggunaannya tidak perlu mendapat izin, dan karenanya tidak pula melanggar hak cipta atau merugikan pihak lain.
Dia berharap penjelasan ini dapat memberikan klarifikasi yang adil dan menyampaikan kepada masyarakat bahwa tuduhan penjiplakan tersebut tidak benar dan tak beralasan.
Darmawan Yusuf menegaskan komitmennya untuk terus berkontribusi dalam menjalankan tugas profesionalnya dengan integritas tinggi dan membangun keyakinan dalam sistem peradilan.

“Darmawan menyebutkan sebagian frase atau kalimat yang muncul diwebsite tersebut, telah menjadi domain publik, sehingga dalam pengunaannya tidak perlu mendapat izin, dan karenanya tidak pula melanggar hak cipta atau merugikan pihak lain.Jadi biar saja khalayak yang menilainya,” ujar pengacara senior itu sambil tertawa.
Sebelumnya Ali Leonardi merasa terkejut bahwa kata dan frasa dalam tulisan pribadinya di Alileonardi.com sama persis kata dan frasa di website Darmawanyusuf.com.
Dalam website Darmawanyusuf.com, tertulis ” Kami melayani client kami dari segi pemahaman hukum maupun peraturan di Indonesia sekaligus melakukan perlindungan hukum baik dalam bidang bisnis maupun kepentingan hukum lainnya dari client kami”.
Seterusnya,” Melalui service dan pendekatan secara personal touch yang memberikan kenyamanan dan kerahasiaan bagi client dengan senantiasa menjalin kehangatan serta membina hubungan baik dengan client, kami mendapatkan reputasi dan kepercayaan dari ratusan perusahaan besar dan kecil baik industri, trading maupun secara person.”
Dalam tulisan pribadinya, Darmawan mungkin ingin mengenalkan kepada publik bahwa sosok pribadinya seorang pengacara yang harus bersikap melayani dan menangani perkara.Bahkan dalan tulisannya, Darmawan memperkenalkan dirinya satu dari 50 Kantor Pengacara/ Hukum terbaik Tahun 2019.
Tetapi ironisnya, tulisan pribadi Darmawan tersebut sama persis dengan tulisan tangan pengacara Ali Leonardi yang dimuat dalam website Alileonardi.com yang sudah ada sejak 2009 silam.
