Medan,-Untuk pertama kalinya Pemko Medan dibawah kepemimpinan Wali Kota Medan, Bobby Nasution menggelar Anugerah Musik Medan (AMM) 2023. Acara yang berlangsung di Hotel JW Marriot, Jum’at (10/11) malam tersebut merupakan bentuk dukungan sekaligus apresiasi dan penghargaan atas karya-karya insan musik yang ada di kota Medan.
Acara yang dihadiri langsung oleh Wali Kota Medan, Bobby Nasution tersebut mendapatkan apresiasi penuh dari para musisi kota Medan salah satunya Jontinus Manullang yang pada malam itu berhasil meraih penghargaan sebagai artis pria solo terbaik.
Menurutnya AMM yang diselenggarakan oleh Pemko Medan tahun ini sungguh sangat luar biasa, karena untuk pertama kalinya dibawah kepemimpinan Wali Kota Medan Bobby Nasution para musisi dikota Medan mendapatkan apresiasi dari Pemerintah.
“Dengan adanya AMM ini tentunya akan menumbuhkan semangat bagi para musisi untuk terus menciptakan karya-karya original.”kata Jontinus.
Untuk itu Jontinus berharap kedepanya AMM ini terus dikembangkan lagi sehingga sehingga musisi di kota Medan dapat semakin dikenal.
“Tentunya kami musisi sangat berharap acara seperti ini dapat terus diadakan dan dikembangkan sehingga kami bisa lebih harum lagi terutama untuk go international,”harapnya.
Sementara itu Wali Kota Medan, Bobby Nasution dalam sambutannya, mengatakan, AMM tahun 2023 ini baru pertama kali digelar di Kota Medan. Pemko Medan bersama Persatuan Artis Penyanyi, Pencipta Lagu dan Pemusik Republik Indonesia (PAPPRI) menggelar acara ini sebagai upaya dalam mewujudkan cita-cita besar Indonesia yakni menjadi Indonesia Emas di tahun 2045.
“seperti yang kita ketahui pada tahun 2045 nanti Indonesia diprediksi masuk empat besar ke dalam ekonomi dunia dan juga masuk kategori negara maju. Untuk mencapainya banyak yang harus dipersiapkan dari sekarang termasuk bagaimana Pemerintah Pusat dan Daerah bisa memastikan tersedianya lapangan pekerjaan,” kata Bobby Nasution.
Dikatakan Bobby Nasution lagi, lapangan kerja yang dimaksud bukan hanya berdasarkan berapa jumlah tempat usaha, pabrik ataupun pelaku UMKM yang ada, namun bagaiamana industri kreatif seperti musik dapat dijadikan leading sektor keterbukaan lapangan kerja.
“untuk memastikan musik ini dapat menjadi penggerak ekonomi ataupun penampung lapangan kerja, yang harus dilakukan Pemerintah hanya dua yaitu memberikan ruang dan apresiasi kepada para insan musik seperti yang dilakukan malam ini agar apa yang dikreasikan anak Medan yang berkecimpung di dunia musik dapat didengar, dinikmati dan di nilai,” ungkapnya.
Kepada Dinas Pariwisata Kota Medan, orang nomor satu dijajaran Pemko Medan tersebut berpesan agar acara seperti ini dapat terus dilakukan setiap tahunnya sehingga industri musik di Kota Medan dapat berkembang menjadi lebih baik lagi kedepannya.
“saya rasa ini adalah program yang baik yang harus kita usung. Mudah-mudahan cita-cita yang kita gaungkan dapat membawa hasil dengan SDM yang unggul,” harapnya.
Di malam itu Wali Kota Medan, Bobby Nasution juga turut menerima penghargaan sebagai Pelopor Kebangkitan Musik Medan sekaligus disematkan pin sebagai anggota kehormatan Persatuan Artis Penyanyi, Pencipta Lagu dan Pemusik Republik Indonesia (PAPPRI) oleh Sekjen Dewan Pimpinan Pusat (DPP) PAPPRI, Dwiki Dharmawan.
Sebelumnya Ketua DPC PAPPRI Medan, Sayed Faisal, menyampaikan apresiasi yang setinggi-tingginya kepada Pemko Medan atas kepedulianya terhadap musisi. Sebab berkat kolaborasi dan dukungan penuh dari Pemko Medan Anugerah Musik Medan (AMM) 2023 ini dapat terlaksana.
“Pemko Medan sangat mendukung terlaksananya AMM 2023 ini sebagai bentuk apresiasi terhadap karya-karya musisi kota Medan.”ujarnya seraya mengingatkan kepada seluruh musisi yang ada dikota Medan untuk terus berkarya jangan sampai putus ditengah jalan.
