Jakarta,-Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) mengonfirmasi, banjir belum surut akibat hujan intensitas tinggi di sejumlah daerah Kabupaten Aceh Barat, Provinsi Aceh, sejak Selasa (7/11/2023). Sebab, Kapusdatin BNPB Abdul Muhari mengatakan, sejumlah wilayah kecamatan masih terendam banjir, pada Jumat kemarin (10/11/2023) dan potensi hujan akan terjadi karena memasuki musim hujan.
“Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Aceh Barat menginformasikan wilayah masih terdampak banjir berada di Kecamatan Arongan, Woyla Timur, dan Bubon. Sedangkan banjir telah surut berada di Kecamatan Pante Ceureumen,” kata Abdul dalam keterangan tertulis BNPB, Sabtu (11/11/2023).
Meski banjir telah melanda Kabupaten Aceh Barat selama berhari-hari, tidak ada laporan adanya korban jiwa. “Informasi terakhir diterima Pusdalops BNPB mencatat tinggi muka air di Kecamatna Arongan berkisar 60–80 Cm,” ujar Abdul.
Pantauan setempat, kata dia, menyebutkan badan jalan menuju Gampong atau Desa Karang Hampa tertutup genangan. Tapi, genangan air di Kecamatan Woyla Timur berangsur surut.
“Menyikapi bencana ini, pemerintah daerah setempat telah mendistribusikan bantuan ke wilayah terdampak banjir,” kata Abdul. Banjir ini terjadi pada Selasa (7/11/2023), sekitar pukul 17.35 WIB.
“Kondisi ini dipicu hujan lebat sehingga debit air Sungai Woyla dan Meureubo meluap. Waktu itu, sebanyak sembilan kecamatan terdampak banjir dan mengakibatkan lahan pertanian seluas 50 hektar terendam,” ucap Abdul.
Dia juga menjelaskan sejumlah kecamatan terendam banjir di Kabupaten Aceh Barat. “Yaitu Kecamatan Woyla Timur, Woyla Barat, Arongan Lambalek, Samatiga, Panton Reu, Pante Ceureumen, Bubon, Merurebo, dan Johan Pahlawan,” kata dia.
“Dalam dua hari ke depan (11-12/11/2023) wilayah Aceh Barat masih berpeluang hujan dengan intensitas ringan. Menghadapi musim hujan, warga diimbau waspada dan siap siaga, salah satunya secara berkala memonitor prakiraan cuaca hujan di wilayahnya.”
