Serdang Bedagai, – Acara kenal pamit antara AKBP Oxy Yudha Pratesta dan Kapolres Sergai yang baru, AKBP Jhon Hery Rakuta Sitepu, berlangsung meriah di Aula Titik Temu, Kecamatan Perbaungan, Sabtu (06/07/2024) malam.
Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh berbagai elemen masyarakat, Forkopimda, tokoh adat, dan internal kepolisian.
AKBP Oxy Yudha Pratesta menyampaikan kesannya selama bertugas di Kabupaten Sergai.
“Pada awalnya, saya tidak mengetahui letak Serdang Bedagai. Setelah mencari tahu, saya sempat bingung karena yang muncul adalah Deli Serdang. Namun, seiring berjalannya waktu, saya merasa diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat, Forkopimda, dan tokoh adat di sini,” ujar Oxy.
Oxy juga mengapresiasi berbagai prestasi yang diraih selama setahun terakhir, baik oleh pemkab maupun polres. Ia juga meyakinkan bahwa Kapolres yang baru akan dapat melanjutkan program-program yang ada.
“Saya bersama beliau sejak IPDA, dia dua tahun di bawah saya. Setelah menikah di Riau, kami bertugas bersama lagi di Kepri. Saya yakin, program yang belum tuntas akan beliau lanjutkan dengan baik,” tambahnya.
Di akhir sambutannya, Oxy memohon maaf atas segala kesalahan selama dinas dan meminta doa restu agar dapat melanjutkan tugas dengan baik di tempat yang baru.
Kapolres Sergai yang baru, AKBP Jhon Hery Rakuta Sitepu, mengungkapkan rasa bahagianya diterima sebagai warga Sergai.
“Sejak kemarin hingga malam ini, sambutan yang hangat membuat kami merasa diterima dengan baik. Kami berharap dapat melanjutkan tugas dengan lancar dan menjaga Sergai tetap aman dan kondusif,” ujarnya.
Jhon Hery juga berkomitmen untuk melanjutkan program-program baik yang telah dirintis oleh Oxy.
“Kami mohon diterima di Sergai ini, sehingga kami bisa menjalankan tugas dengan baik. Kami doakan Bang Oxy sukses selalu dalam tugas barunya,” tutupnya.
