Kami ingin melihat langsung sekaligus minta masukan dari TP PKK Kota Medan, terkait pengembangan UP2K dan mendukung terwujudnya Medan sebagai KLA,” kata Plt Ketua TP PKK Kabupaten Morowali Ny Septi Arifania Rachmansyah saat diterima Ny Kahiyang Ayu di Gedung PKK Kota Medan Jalan Rotan, Senin (22/1).
Dari kunjungan yang dilakukan tersebut, Ny Septi yang hadir bersama sejumlah pengurus TP PKK Kabupaten Morowali berharap dapat menambah wawasan dan pengalaman mereka. “Semoga semua ilmu dan masukan yang kami peroleh dari Ketua TP PKK Kota Medan dapat diterapkan di daerah kami,” ungkapnya.
Tidak hanya itu saja, Ny Septi juga menyebutkan, kunjungan yang dilakukan ini sekaligus mempelajari bagaimana inovasi yang dilakukan TP PKK Kota Medan dalam mendukung UMKM sebagai bagian dari UP2K. “Untuk itu kami berharap TP PKK Kota Medan dapat berbagi informasi dan kiat apa saja yang sudah dilakukan sehingga kami mendapat pencerahan untuk dapat kami bawa ke Morowali,” harapnya.

Selanjutnya, wanita kelahiran Solo ini memperkenalkan secara singkat Kota Medan.
“Kota Medan terdiri dari 21 kecamatan dan 151 Kelurahan. Medan merupakan kota terbesar di Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang menjadi pusat jasa dan perdagangan. Selain itu Medan terkenal dengan kulinernya sehingga menjadikan Medan sebagai kota kuliner yang memiliki dua rasa yakni enak dan enak sekali,” jelas Ny Kahiyang.
Terkait dengan UP2K, Ny Kahiyang mengungkapkan, TP PKK Kota Medan melalui TP PKK Kelurahan Sei Agul berhasil keluar sebagai juara pertama perlombaan UP2K Tingkat Provinsi Sumut. Selanjutnya, Ny Kahiyang pun dalam pertemuan dengan rombongan TP PKK Morowali yang berlangsung dengan penuh kekeluargaan itu menyampaikan upaya-upaya yang dilakukan dalam memajukan UP2K di Kota Medan serta dukungan yang diberikan guna menjadikan Medan sebagai KLA.
