Medan,-Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) Kota Medan telah menindaklanjuti Laporan Hasil Pemeriksaan (LHP) Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia (BPK RI) atas Laporan Keuangan Pemko Medan Tahun Anggaran 2023, terkait kekurangan pendapatan atas pajak hotel, restoran, dan hiburan sebesar Rp5.010.487.193,21.
“Sementara ini, telah ditindaklanjuti sebesar Rp1.299.538.309,81. Dan untuk kekurangan sebesar Rp3,710.948.883,40 Bapenda Kota Medan telah menerbitkan dan mengirimkan Surat Ketetapan Pajak Daerah Kurang Bayar kepada Wajib Pajak,” sebut Kepala Bapenda Kota Medan Sutan Tolang Lubis di Ruang Inspektorat, Senin (30/9).
Sutan yang baru mengikuti Kegiatan Penyelesaian Tindaklanjut Temuan BPK RI atas Laporan Keuangan Pemko Medan Tahun Anggaran 2023 yang dilaksanakan Inspektorat Kota Medan ini mengatakan, pihaknya akan terus melakukan penagihan atas kekurangan atas pajak hotel, restoran, dan hiburan itu.
Berdasarkan Undang Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2022 tentang Hubungan Keuangan Pusat dan Daerah dan Perda Nomor 1 Tahun 2022 tentang Pajak Daerah dan Retribusi Daerah *bahwa Jenis Pajak Hotel, Restoran dan Hiburan dipungut berdasarkan perhitungan sendiri oleh Wajib Pajak, sehingga kekurangan penerimaan dari pajak hotel, restoran, dan hiburan ini akibat ditemukannya bukti/data baru oleh pihak Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan RI dari laporan keuangan yang disajikan oleh wajib pajak tersebut.
“Namun begitu, akibat ditemukannya bukti/data baru itu, maka pihak Bapenda Kota Medan berwenang menerbitkan Surat Ketetapan Pajak Daerah Kurang Bayar atau SKPDKB. Dengan demikian justru akibat temuan BPK dimaksud diharapkan dapat menambah penerimaan pendapatan ke Kas Daerah Pemko Medan” ucapnya.
Di tempat yang sama, Inspektur Kota Medan, Sulaiman Harahap, SH mengingatkan Bapenda Kota Medan agar serius dalam menindaklanjuti temuan BPK ini. Kekurangan pajak hotel, restoran, dan hiburan ini harus ditindaklanjuti sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundangan yang berlaku.
“Surat Ketetapan Pajak Daerah Kurang Bayar SKPDKB yang telah diterbitkan dan disampaikan kepada wajib pajak harus terus ditindaklanjuti hingga kekurangan pendapatan ini dapat diatasi,” tegasnya.
