Jakarta,-Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) melantik Andi Amran Sulaiman sebagai menteri pertanian (mentan) di Istana Negara, Rabu (25/10/2023) pagi. Pelantikan ini berdasarkan Keputusan Presiden (Keppres) Nomor 101/P Tahun 2023 tentang Pengangkatan Menteri Pertanian Kabinet Indonesia Maju Sisa Masa Jabatan Periode Tahun 2019-2024.
Usai pembacaan Keppres yang dilakukan oleh Deputi Bidang Administrasi Aparatur, Kementerian Sekretariat Negara (Kemensetneg), Nani Purwati tersebut, Presiden Joko Widodo kemudian memimpin pembacaan sumpah jabatan yang ditirukan oleh Amran Sulaiman.
“Demi Allah saya bersumpah bahwa saya akan setia kepada UUD 1945, serta akan menjalankan segala peraturan perundang-undangan dengan selurus-lurusnya demi darmabakti saya kepada bangsa dan negara. Bahwa saya dalam menjalankan tugas jabatan akan menjunjung tinggi etika jabatan, bekerja dengan sebaik-baiknya, dengan penuh rasa tanggung jawab,” ucap Amran.
Amran Sulaiman dilantik sebagai Mentan menggantikan Syahrul Yasin Limpo yang mengundurkan diri awal bulan ini. Sebelumnya, Amran pernah juga menjabat sebagai Mentan pada Kabinet Kerja di bawah pemerintahan Presiden Jokowi periode pertama sejak 2014 hingga 2019.
Hadir dalam pelantikan ini, antara lain, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik, Hukum, dan Keamanan (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD, Sekretaris Kabinet (Seskab) Pramono Anung, Kapolri Jenderal Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, dan Panglima TNI Laksamana Yudo Margono.
